The project
The original kitchen worked against the house. Two walls separated it from the room where the family actually spent its time, and the storage was in all the wrong places.
We removed the divide, rebuilt the service wall, and used custom cabinetry to hide everything that did not need to be seen — including the appliances.
The finishing details took the longest and are the reason the room reads quiet: consistent reveals, aligned hardware, and a backsplash that meets the cabinetry without a compromise joint.
Scope of work
- Full kitchen reconfiguration
- Custom cabinetry and panelled appliances

Common questions
About kitchen remodel projects
What homeowners in Broward and Palm Beach County usually ask before a project like this one begins.
- How long does a full kitchen remodel like this take?
- A kitchen of this scope generally runs eight to twelve weeks on site once cabinetry is released for fabrication. Custom cabinetry and stone templating drive the schedule more than the demolition does, so we confirm lead times before the first wall comes down.
- Can a load-bearing wall be removed to open a kitchen to the living room?
- Often, yes. It requires a structural assessment, an engineered beam and a permit. We coordinate the engineering and inspections as part of the project rather than leaving it to the homeowner.
- Is custom cabinetry worth it compared with stock cabinets?
- In rooms that are not square, or where appliances need to be panelled and reveals aligned, custom cabinetry is the only way to get a consistent result. In a simple rectangular kitchen, semi-custom can be the better value, and we will say so.
- Do you serve Broward and Palm Beach County for kitchen renovations?
- Yes. JC Signature Solutions works on kitchen remodels throughout Broward and Palm Beach County, South Florida.
